Born as a concept car in Shanghai in 2015, it’s finally time for the gorgeous Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupé to be officially presented and launched into series production.
A sporty take on the mid-size SUV, the GLC Coupé will enjoy signature Mercedes-Benz safety and driver assistance systems, sports steering, DYNAMIC SELECT and 4MATIC permanent all-wheel drive, 9G-TRONIC automatic transmission and two suspension variants.
Built to be the pinnacle of dynamics and comfort, AIR BODY CONTROL multi-chamber air suspension will also feature on the model, as well as being eight centimetres longer and four centimetres lower than the standard GLC. An optional sports exhaust system is even available for the petrol variant, allowing for that emotive engine roar.
Sprinting to 100 km/h in under 5 seconds, the GLC Coupé has plenty of power under the hood, while still maintaining its essential SUV practicality; a 491 to 1205 litre capacity leads the segment, with entrance height, shoulder room, elbow room and legroom all held as a priority.
