1963 saw the first appearance of a car whose name, Quattroporte, was to become synonymous with the concept of the high performance luxury saloon. At the Turin Motor Show the “Tipo 107”, designed by Pietro Frua, first revealed to the world what could be achieved by combining the character of a sports car with the comfort and space of an executive limousine. Today, exactly fifty years after its first incarnation, Maserati’s new flagship exhibits all the same groundbreaking innovation and technological superiority – the perfect combination of elegance and power.
The Quattroporte's innovative three litre Twin Turbo V6 engine delivers the sporty temperament of 410bhp, while its design reduces fuel consumption and emission. Muscular lines and charismatic forms meet elegant contours, that envelope a generous interior in the finest traditions of Italian craftsmanship. Inside is an optional new-generation Premium Surround system, created in association with high-end sound specialists Bowers & Wilkins. The system, with a 16-channel 1,280 watt amplifier and 15 speakers, blends perfectly into the interior and guarantees unparalleled sound with unbeatable dynamic purity.
"FABULOUS PERFORMANCE AND SPORTY HANDLING, MIXED WITH LIMO SPACE IN THE BACK. THE LUXURIOUS CABIN COMPLETES THE PICTURE…" - WhatCar? review.
Drivers can, for example, opt for three other types of prestigious wood rather than a briarwood finish for the dashboard, central tunnel and door inserts: Erable, Tanganika or Ebony.
A special glossy carbon fibre can be used in the interior to highlight the Quattroporte S*’s sporty side. Optional steering column-mounted gearshift paddles in aluminium.
The only way to discover what the Maserati Quattroporte is really like is to take a test drive. We would be delighted to arrange this for you (either from the showroom, your office or home).
