Why does it need to be replaced?
An engine's air filter removes dirt and dust particles from the air entering the engine, and just like your vacuum cleaner it needs to be cleaned to maintain its functionality.
How often should it be replaced?
Your air filter needs changing when it reaches the age or mileage limit recommended by Jaguar. This limit is vehicle dependant so please speak to a Service Advisor at Ridgeway Jaguar for more information.
What happens if it is not replaced?
Fresh air is vital for your Jaguar's engine to perform efficiently. Failure to replace the air filter when required could lead to a drop in performance as the engine tries to 'breathe' through a dirty filter, and could result in your Jaguar being difficult to start.
What do we do?
We remove the filter from its housing, check and clean the housing and hoses and put in a fresh new filter.
