The BMW 4-Series is to experience an uplifting new selection of petrol and diesel engines, with a new six-cylinder in-line unit with BMW TwinPower Technology. A maximum output of 326hp will secure an increase of 20hp from the previous generation, as well as stepping up sporting performance and efficiency.
The BMW M3 and BMW M4 will also enjoy a new Competition Package, kicking their already-impressive performance up a notch. Improved chassis tuning, alongside a 19hp power rise, will bring output to 450hp – A real delight for those who enjoy a thrilling drive.
The BMW M4 GTS will now be offered with BMW M Carbon Compound Wheels, reducing unsprung and rotating masses to improve acceleration, deceleration, steering response and levels of vibration.
Some extra technology will make the BMW X3 and BMW X4 even smarter, with telephony wireless charging, Wi-Fi hotspot function and iDrive operating system with revamped graphics available as add-ons. In addition, the BMW 6 Series will also enjoy the BMW iDrive interface in its Professional Multimedia System, with navigation, entertainment and communications systems having a refreshed appearance and higher resolution 10.2-inch Control Display.
The BMW 7-Series will up the ante with Remote Control Parking joining all models from March, allowing the vehicle to manoeuvre in or out of forward-parking spaces or garages without anyone in the driving seat. A press of the BMW Display Key will activate the function when required, with controlled stops and engine activation also controlled by the key.
BMW Individual will also launch from March 2016, allowing exceptional personalisation options. Exterior paint colours will have an increased range, including Brilliant White metallic, Pure Metal Silver and Frozen Arctic Grey metallic. Fine-grain full Merino leather interiors can also be customized, with six gorgeous colour combinations and two exclusive fine-wood trims.
